PHOENIX is the term we use to describe a type of birth journey in which Baby departs the physical realm either directly from the womb or shortly following birth. We honor our phoenix babies by trusting these soul’s decision to depart and by nourishing and supporting our client throughout the process of releasing the phoenix. Some other terms we use for phoenix births include pregnancy loss, pregnancy release, miscarriage, still birth, ectopic pregnancy, menstrual promotion or extraction, elective or emergency abortion. PASSING THROUGH THE VEIL is the process of a baby being born into the physical realm. THE DIMENSION OF THE ROSE is the name our ancestors use to refer to the physical realm.
