REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE Sugar Heal is developing a new standard of care for pregnancy loss, abortion and postpartum recovery. It is most common for people in need of support to suffer in silence, neglect, grief and/or shame without receiving the physical care needed in order to recuperate. Holistic medicine has vast solutions for treatment but a significant investment of time, energy, funding and resources are needed in order to make these solutions available to everyone who needs them. Sugar Heal's next steps are the establishment of a healing center where birth workers can go for trainings, community can gather for fellowship and birthing people can receive treatment.
